FANTASY WRITING CONTEST #6

ENTRY #14

General Dragon

There was a roar in the mist. Jennifer lifted her head from the concrete
crack. She felt for the matted blood upon her head and as she stumbled from
the enclosure where she had slept the biting cold assailed her. The dawn
was enveloped in fog that swirled about her bringing the chill up her skirt
and torn stockings. There was a moment of hushed silence and the roaring
starting up again, reverberating off the concrete ruins, rising in staccato
bursts about her. She froze not knowing where to run or which way to turn.
She stumbled forward only to find her foot twisted and useless and over the
horizon red steel gleamed. The vultures had surrounded her, there was no
place to run. The helmeted soldiers soared over the rubble and with a war
whoop surrounded her. The general refused to raise her hands, she could see
a thousand eyes crouching in the hidden crevices, glaring furtively from
above the buildings, poised to shoot the enemy and give her a chance to
escape.

They had drawn stunners and were swiftly approaching her, a cloud of smoke
passed over Jennifer and she recalled faintly that no one was going to save
her this time, the army had scattered, had been beaten by the dragon and
only in memory would her soldiers regroup.

The general fell to her knees, blood seeping over her eyelids and gazed up
at the sky. Silently she gave allegiance. the children and the youths, they
who fought bravely, and even in fire had never known retreat. It was a
cruel god who did not give her rest amongst them, and a crueler fate that
led her alone into the hands of the enemy.

A rough arm jerked her to her feet. 'So, general, how cowardly! The only
one to have survived' She gazed silently into the helmeted face and could
see nothing but a dimmed reflection.
The morning siren had begun to sound and non to gently the soldier forced
her unto his motordogk. As he gunned his engines Jennifer considered trying
a slide which would let her slip between his arms as the dogk reached full
speed but an apathy had overtaken her. Perhaps it was the head wound, maybe
the choking dust. The world had dimmed as the irritating red trickle wound
its way down her cheek. She felt the soldier's taut arms about her as his
legs straddled hers and pinned her in place. He would brag about this
later, the one lucky enough to take the general to her death.

Jennifer felt herself jerk in and out of consciousness as they approached
the army's headquarters, beneath the largest dome lay her fate, she knew
they would torture her and this time the knowledge didn't bother her in the
least.

Chapter.
The world had gone dark. Jennifer could not recall when they stopped
beating her, she had felt the iron clubs as faint thumps upon a skin which
was numb with pain. The clanking of keys and boot heals echoed in the cell.
Weakly Jennifer lifted her head. She knew she could not take another
beating. A green flashlight steadied on her and the railing slid open.
'get up' she was dragged to her feet and pulled along stumbling down the
corridor. All about her lay darkness and emptiness. Prisoners did not stay
too long in these cells.
The guard led her to a waiting elevator. Putting a hand over her eyes he
punched in numbers. As the elevator rose silently Jennifer felt the guard's
nervousness. She sensed something had gone amiss.
The elevator let them off unto a gleaming floor and with a clang slid shut.
Jennifer glanced about her at the lovely domed copulas and glimmering balls
of light hanging from the ceiling. The enemy's headquarters were oddly
beautiful, but she had never been this high before. The soldier looked
furtively to both sides and seeing no one shoved her behind him and rushed
to the end of the hallway. Here he palmed the door and as it slid he pushed
her roughly forward. The door slid shut and Jennifer blinked as she found
herself in a luxurious room. At it's end lay a window the height of the
wall that looked out unto the night. It seemed to extend to the floors
below because before it stood a miniature balcony to prevent one from
falling.
A gloved arm reached out and drew her to the window. The girl looked up and
felt her heart stop. He was clad in the black bodysuit like the rest of
them but the festive red cloak of an officer hung over his shoulders.
She knew who he was. This was the greatest monster of them all. The man
who's soldiers ran amock in the destruction, interrogating prisoners and
sending metal to the enemy. He was rumoured to be a frighteningly ugly man
who always wore his helmet visor to avoid being seen.
'You probably know how they kill prisoners here?'
Jennifer felt her legs give out beneath her. The beating had hurt her more
then she realized.
The gloved hand reached out and steadied her.
'I am offering you a choice, you can come with me on the ship, or you can
stay here to be torn apart'
'What will you do with me there?'
The hand lifted as though to slap her
'It is not your place to ask questions. They will not let me on without a
woman, and the ship embarks in two hours.'
A dread creeping over her Jennifer understood. She would have to live with
this monster for the rest of her days. The ship wasn't coming back.
She looked silently out onto the night. The earth spread desolate beneath
her. She had nothing left here. For all her desperate trying the world was
lost. The nuclear attacks would begin here any day. She had lost her army
and this was too be her hell. Either choice forced her to surrender to a
monster.
She looked up into the dark shielded helmet and the fire inside her heart
strengthened. On the ship there was a hope, a new world meant new men.
Softly she nodded her head.
The generals shoulders sagged, as if in a release of tension and he turned
away from her.
'Undress' he snapped pulling from beneath his bed a black leotard. Jennifer
hastened to listen and as he watched arms folded she drew the fabric over
her wounds.

The general grabbed her by the arm and they rushed out. The elevator
carried them to the cement boarding dock and there with many a backward
glance Jennifer was shoved through the service entrance.
The countdown had started as she was fitted into the harness and the windows
slid down the lights closed and the other passengers quieted. There was a
roar and trembling as the engines heaved and the girl felt herself pressed
into the back of the seat the air sucked from her lungs. The lack of breath
was too much from her as the world began to darken and the cabin lights
glimmered. She was thrust forward and collapsed in the loose restraints as
the roars quieted and the ship windows opened unto a starry abyss. She
turned her head but the general was gone. The passengers were standing up
and removing their restraints. Jennifer followed them meekly as they walked
out of the cabin and into the interior of the ship.
The long hall branched into many wings of the ship. Every hall was
numbered. Some claimed to lead the dining area, others to the storage. The
passengers milled about and soon everyone came to ooh and ahh at the great
glass panel at the end of the hallway. The view was indeed magnificent.
Jennifer followed suddenly feeling a trembling posses her. They were
pointing at earth. That little blue glimmer far away. Jennifer suddenly
knew she was dying. She had left earth, her mother, everything she held
dear. She was the cruelest tragedy of the war. Something tore inside her
and she heard a girl screaming and sobbing incoherently. Hands reached up
to grab at her but she wouldn't leave go, not earth, not home! She pressed
her cheek against the glass and screamed. There was a panic in the crowd
and rush of footsteps. The faces above her were strange and ugly, she
didn't know them, they hated her. They were trying to rape her, pin her
down. Suddenly a man pushed through them. He looked young and calm,
bending over her, trying to stay her arms. She fought him and he slapped
gently at her face.

In the cool dimness the panic ebbed away and fresh sobs washed over her.
She lay in someone's arms nestled on their knee. A quiet voice, hoarse but
pleasant was whispering to her.
'It's alright, you'll be ok, just let yourself cry'
The hands rubbed her shoulder blades and she felt herself collapse weakly
unto the powerful chest. A ragged sigh escaped her. She pushed away and
glanced up into the darkness. Cool fingers drew the wet hair off her
forehead and she could make out a handsome profile and glittering eyes.
The man studied her and smiled. 'I think you'll live' she clutched at his
shirt. 'Please hide me here!'
The man laughed gently. 'Why would I?'
'He, the general, he forced me here to be his whore, god, please hide me!'
'Actually, why don't we go eat'
Slowly the stranger stood and Jennifer clambered off him, but was comforted
to notice he still held an arm about her.
'Come on girl, be brave,' he whispered and slid open the door.
The dining room was immense with glimmering brass flooring and the walls
carpeted in red. On one hung the huge insignia of man and the unconquerable
galaxy. Jennifer sat close by the man as a robot rolled over to them.
'Would you like chicken, or beef?'
Jennifer glanced up, she couldn't make out the black helmet anywhere, and
their small table was against a wall.
'Poor girl, it must have been too much for you'
The man smiled and put a plate of sausages before her. Jennifer lifted her
head off of his arm and studied his face carefully. She lifted a finger
hesitantly and ran it along the side of the stranger's face. The man
stopped chewing and looked down at her.
'Aren't you hungry'
He felt rather discomfited by the piercing green eyes that looked into his.
'That's a terrible scar, how did you get it?'
The stranger half smiled at her
'A firebrand from the partisans'
'Oh' the information bothered Jennifer somewhat but she couldn't put her
finger on it. In confusion she reached for a fork. The food reminded her
of an overwhelming weakness and she ate until the juice flowed down her
chin. The rest of the dinner threw the general completely from her mind as
the lights dimmed and lovely violet and blue crystals began reflect off the
walls. Couples got up to dance and drinks were served. Jennifer sat
motionless, to weak to dance with the others, a nostalgia coming over her
for the lost days. The stranger seemed to feel it too for he reached a hand
around her bottom and Jennifer snuggled against him. She did not recall
drifting off but suddenly the room was completely dark and they were alone.
'Wwhat happened?'
'Nothing, it's alright' she felt him taking off her boots and knew she was
stretched out on a cool bed. It had been a long time since she had lain on
one and it felt very pleasant. Her mind could not think clearly, the room
was tiny with just one bed and the stranger was drawing down the zipper on
her suit. She reached out a hand to stop him. He looked at her steadily.
'You'll have to sleep naked, I'm afraid'
'How did we get here?'
'I carried you, you don't weigh much my little bird' the man bent over and
tilted an eyebrow.
'Are you frightened of me?'
'Yes, no, I mean, I don't know what's wrong with me'
'Nothing, sweet' he brushed a hand across her cheek his brown eyes the only
warm thing in the room.
'You were given a drug to calm you down, don't be afraid.'
'Why are you undressing me?'
'I, I want you to be comfortable when you sleep' the stranger glanced over
her face as though waiting for some reaction.
'Oh, go on then'
He was very gentle, sliding the matted fabric over her shoulders, using a
wet rag to wipe off the blood.
'Why did they hurt me like that?' she questioned gazing up at him
innocently.
'Because they are monsters the stranger whispered lowering the suit over her
chest
'But you're safe now, they can't hurt you anymore'
She nodded, feeling a pleasant tingle pass through her as the man's fingers
passed over her stomach. Soon a cool wind assailed her as she curled up
naked on the bed. In the rustling darkness she felt rather then heard the
man undress. He stripped swiftly and unlaced his boots. Behind her
Jennifer felt the blackness lift as a view window appeared and stars rushed
towards them
'That means the lights have gone out' the man whispered in her ear and
Jennifer was surprised to find him lying beside her.
He glanced over her girlish form and she felt a strange tingle between her
legs. She licked her lips.
'Are you cold?'
'A little' she murmered feeling the goose bumps rise in her flesh.
'Do you want to play tonight?' the voice was hoarse with desire. Jennifer
looked up into the handsome face and caressed the strong jaw.
'Will you hurt me too then?'
The stranger smiled, his gleaming white teeth descending on her mouth. He
squeezed his lips unto hers murmering 'I'm very gentle'
He rose above her, a falcon with raven hair and Jennifer felt her
subconscience desperately yelling danger. But the man had overpowered her.
He crushed her stomach with his and forced a leg between hers. He put his
mouth to her neck and began to kiss her traveling like the rain down her
neck and between her breasts. She gasped and moaned not able to control
herself as her nipples tightened from his tongue's caress. He held her and
massaged her back as her tense muscles unfolded to his ardor. He was
whispering to her
'Spread your legs my sweet' she parted them slowly as he held the wetness
between them all the while looking deep into her eyes. Suddenly he lifted
her buttocks and his head dipped low between her legs. His tongue flickered
in and out passing over everything private and sacred to her. She grabbed
at the pillows to stifle her screams of passion and terror her breasts
heaving as he lifted her bottom higher. Her lips bled and she let out a
moan. Slowly the hands ceased to crush her buttocks and let them down
gently on the bed. She cried and gasped as passion overwhelmed her too
proud to plead for him, her suffering contorting her features. Suddenly he
flipped her over. And began pulling up her lower back by the stomach.
'Please, that's painful, I'm frightened'
'Do you want me to rub some Vaseline, or do you want it like a woman?'
' I can't do that, I'm too small there.'
But her pleadings went ignored. The man stuck a pillow between her thighs
and tilted her upper half over the edge of he bed. Hanging desperately
Jennifer felt a terrible silence descend.
'Are you ready?'
'Oh, g. she sobbed, just get it over with'
'just relax, I know what I'm doing'
and despite herself she did. All her senses betrayed her as buttocks parted
and came open. As the stranger massaged them roughly and poked inside her
hole. He struggled deeper as she screamed but he held her back roughly over
the bed.
'Just, let go, Jen, just surrender'
She sobbed quietly as she held the pillow between her thighs and surrendered
to the hot cock being forced inside her. Her buttocks opened completely and
began to throb with a pounding force as hot liquid shot up inside her. She
was lifted to kneel on the bed and her knees were forced roughly to the
sides she impaled herself on him. To her shame she gripped the bedpost in
passion as he drew the pillow from between her thighs and massaged her
clitoris kissing her neck as his fingers felt deeper inside her temple.
A blackness overcame her and suddenly she was on a pile of pillows her legs
hanging over the sides as the stranger forced himself deeper and harsher.
She held unto his back as they jerked back and forth, he claiming her
completely and she astounded at the bursting passion of her surrender.

The lights came back on. The room was small and harshly lit. Jennifer
shook the cobwebs from her eyes and drew a pillow lightly spattered with
blood from between her legs. She gasped in horror as she remembered how
gentle the stranger had been. How frightened she had been at the pain and
the blood flowing from her and how he had calmed her and held her till she
slept.
In a panic of shame and anger she looked about the room her face aflame and
to her horror noticed a black helmet and red cloak resting in the corner.
She fell back against her pillow as terrible realization flooded her. She
had lain beneath the general, merely a few years older then her. It was he
who had held her in his arms and soothed her fears. A deep red stole over
her cheeks as she remembered her behavior the night before.

She looked to her side and noticed the raven colored head was resting
serenly against the pillow. Drawing a blanket over her to cover her
nakedness she climbed like a panther from the bed and stealthily approached
the door. She pressed her arm against the black panel and jerked back as a
blue shock scorched her hand.
'It's not going to open just like that sweet heart'
She turned swiftly.
The general was sitting up in bed looking quite entertained. The sight of
his handsome face brought the shame back to her.
'I will fight you to the death, monster. In public'
The general rubbed a hand over his stubble one eyebrow lifted to conceal his
smile.
'Alright, but why don't you get dressed first'
She lunged at him and stopped herself. 'I have nothing to wear' she
muttered turning regally away from him. There was a loud guffaw in back of
her and the man approached her from behind. She did not deign to look at
him, and was frankly frightened to look down.
'You'll be wearing my army fatigues till you can find something in storage.'
Seeing her stiffen he put a hand on her shoulder 'the old army I mean'
When she came out of the shower he sitting at his console. The bed had
somehow made itself. He looked her over and she felt undressed again
'my tee shirt fits you, if a little tight on the chest.'
Almost she swung at him, but remembering her training decided better to sit
in waiting and trap the enemy.
'How old are you?' she said almost pleasantly
'Twenty four' he smiled 'and you?'
'eighteen she said
the general looked surprised 'and still a virgin?'
Now she swung at him, feeling her control crumble and with a whoop tumbled
him unto the floor. There was a silent battle at the end of which she found
herself pinned down with a chair.
'Had enough little lady?'
' I hate you! She screamed writhing helplessly'
The general looked down at her
'You don't even know my name'
'I don't care about your name' she gasped 'You fucked me, you pig'
'I did not, we made love, with your permission'
Laying her head to the side Jennifer took a few deep breaths to calm
herself.
'I am not going to be your whore'
The chair lifted off her and she sat down, feet crossed.
The general sat beside her.
'Please keep in mind that I saved your life'
She looked deep into his eyes. He had been so gentle yesterday, how could
he be the same man behind the mask.
'I didn't save you because I needed a whore, it was something else Jen'
She turned away her long hair falling over her shoulder
Suddenly the stranger grabbed her hand 'I needed a friend, that's all.
Think about it hun, no other man alive can understand us. Suddenly he
looked very young. Jennifer studied him out of the corner of her eye and
watched the console lights play about his face.
'It's a nice scar you've got' she said smiling wickedly. Unsure of how to
react the stranger sat silent.
'you said we could understand each other. I was joking.' Suddenly he
grinned. 'want to go out star side? Her eyes lit up. What do you mean? You
know, race the little dogks around the ship.
'Yea, come on' she sprang up and together they raced out through the
corridors.
